Hey guys, haven't been around much since we got the new shop up and running. This damn virus scare is killing us trying to keep guns and ammo on the shelves while trying to stay on top of all of the repairs, rifle builds, etc.
Anyway, a few months back I purchased a Spypoint Solar W (non-cellular) camera after my badass Snyper Sapper Black Ops filled up with water after a rain. I charged it as instructed and performed the firmware update which didn't go exactly according to the instructions, but shows the correct version now. The first week it did ok, then a deer knocked it off of the mount (got nose pics) and it laid in the sand for a few days. Cleaned it up and put it back up, and it took pics fine for around 10-12 days but now won't take any.
The Energizer Lithiums are fine and I can see the LED's flash red, but no pics, even in my living room.
Any ideas or is it time for a return trip to Canada?

I really have no clue, but does it have a reset or restore function? If so try that.
Welcome back.

Hey Dog! I've tried the default settings and reloading the firmware update, plus pulling the batteries and letting the internal battery die and then starting fresh. I'm thinking it's brain dead but have horrible things about their customer service.
On the plus side, my wife bought me a Reconyx Hyperfire 2 for my B-day but it's not here yet. I've got a whole damn box of cheap but supposedly great but dead cameras in my garage but this one is just a couple of months old so I hate to throw it in the box of shame just yet.

Well that is all I know about those cams, and I stumbled on that with one that died, I saw the reset button, punched it, put in a new battery and it worked for about 6 months.
You still have your shop out off of Industrial on Sayles?

Those have a built in lithium battery pack. Mine stay out and never loses charge. I've never even tried putting batteries in one. i have 2. Might try leaving batteries out of it.
Second, I sent one back 2 years ago and they sent me a replacement. No issues with their CS.
