My "On X Hunt" Map shows a large Tract of Land near me to be owned by the Texas Parks and Wildlife, does anybody know if it's Huntable? if so, what Permits or Process does one have to do/get to Predator hunt it? thanks in advance.

use this tool. Do a search for your town and find the WMA's nearby.

If it is a WMA you'll need your walk in permit in addition to your hunting license and hunter's ed. I think most of the WMA's are closed till next season though, please correct me if I am wrong.

As said probably the State Park land around Tucker Lake. Last I read about it, the park was dependent on private funding so it may be some time before it is built and opened.

The only State Park Area that they have purchased near here is outside of Strawn.
