My daughter brought home a puppy  . I give my fully grown dogs ivermectin once a month. Haven't had a puppy in a long time. What dose do I give it? He's 12 weeks. Weighs 15 lbs.

.15 cc is what I would do if it was mine.
Is that .15cc of the 30:1 dilution? no. Straight from bottle. But ask a vet you trust. I did and have followed his instructions for 30 years now.

They make chewables for dogs now. Little easier then drench or paste

Yep, I'd use Bobbys dosage too. Straight from bottle, squirt onto bread (1/10th of a CC per 10 lbs). No herding breeds.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

When I was using ivermectin I’d just shoot it down their throat. No diluting or adding to food.

I have been using ivermectin for at least 15 years and diluting it 9 to 1 and giving 1 cc per 40 lbs of body weight and have never had a dog over dose or have heart worms
Talked to vet today and confirmed
He said he has buried many dogs where owners did not dilute and
Over dosed 16 cc will treT a cow
That is with 1% ivermectin

I was only using .01 cc per 10lbs. Per instructions from my vet at the time. Finally gave it up when wife had to start doing a lot of the dog maintenance due to my traveling for work. Started using Heartgaurd.
