Going for my first suppressor and looking for advice from the folks that have more experience on the subject. I’ve think I’ve narrowed it down to the Switchback .22 suppressor from SilencerCo. It can be used in 3 different configurations which makes it seem more beneficial I believe. Are there any downside issues that I’ve overlooked? Any and all suggestions and opinions are appreciated. If there’s anything better to consider I’d like to hear about it.

I damaged a SilencerCo suppressor through my own negligence, sent it in to them for repair and told them to bill me as necessary. I received it back fixed in about 3 weeks; they charged me nothing.

Highly, highly recommended.

Sounds like they’re a good company to deal with. Hopefully it doesn’t take long to get everything processed and get it shipped out. Thank you both from the replies.

That Deadair Mask is pretty impressive on the videos. Now I’ve got some comparing to do. Thanks.

DA Mask, Sig SRD, Q El Camino, Q Erector. Rimfire suppressors seem to be pretty similar in the weight category, the Erector is the lightest by a long shot. Pick the one you think looks the best and go with it.

If you are hard on them go with titanium, aluminum will save you some weight.

They are all about the same, not enough to really tell a difference. The one you pick should take down easy, .22 long rifle is dirty. There are some new "clean" .22lrs out, jury is still out as are they at most outlets.

Comes down to...do you want function or be TAF ???

22 cans get very dirty compared to centerfire so cleaning is a must. I like my El Camino above all my others due to the quietness and ease of cleaning. The baffle stack fits together in a way that prevents all the nastiness from getting on the inside of the tube. The inside of my tube is spotless after many thousands of rounds with me only cleaning the baffles. Here is a video explaining it.
