Since lot of folks like me at home these days reloading and stores closed seemed like a good time to post this. Why did I think about it.... yep ran out of One Shot just now but already had ingredients on the shelf to make my own so mixed it up sized another 100 6.5 PRC’s now on to 28 Nosler I think I have went thru over 6 cans of One Shot the past 8-10 months because I know I bought 4 about 6 months ago. I got an email from the Waco Cabelas that they will start opening abbreviated hours tomorrow so I will grab some more. Hope the link works but just in case just google home made case lube. https://youtu.be/VgsimvLoddo

Reading between the lines....this is good in a pinch but not quite as good as One Shot?

Actually it works just fine but I like the aerosol with the plastic straw to spray more precise especially getting a little down into the necks at all angles while my cases are in loading blocks. The bigger hand spray bottles are great if you just dump your brass in a plastic container spray then shake it up good. That’s how I do my pistol brass to run thru the Dillon.

I make my own (sort of) out of Lee case lube and rubbing alcohol. I've never used One Shot but too many friends have stuck cases with it. I guess they weren't letting it dry.
Pass the gravy.

Thanks for the clarification. I’ve used One Shot for a long time and I’ve been happy enough with it I’ve not tried the lanolin and alcohol.

I make my own (sort of) out of Lee case lube and rubbing alcohol. I've never used One Shot but too many friends have stuck cases with it. I guess they weren't letting it dry. there are a few reasons I have seen folks stick cases with One Shot. 1.They don't read instructions...I mean who does?.... right? 2. They use a die that has old case lube inside and the alcohol in One Shot reacts with it ...stuck case. 3. They simply don't use enough One Shot or don't get good coverage... I watched a friend spray his cases and he probably didn't get any on a 1/3 of them. 4. After spraying they don't let them sit a couple minutes...... see No 1. This would also lessen chances of No 2 happening as well. I will add with smaller cases One Shot is very forgiving of mistakes BUT not so much if you are sizing a 28 Nosler that's been fired with Reloder 33 in the summer.
