I wear Whites Semi Dress. Pricey, but worth it both in comfort and longevity.

They are good boots but boy are they heavy.

True, they have some heft behind them but after a week or two it’s like house shoes! up

Good to see you posting again, Nav.

Seems to me that rotating boots more often is worth more than I realized, and I’ll have to give that option more effort. Now, do I risk spending the money on another pair of boots with the price of oil and the economy in a slump? That’s another thread, I suppose.

I don't believe oil will stay there very long, taking care of your feet is important, you do not want to add a Podiatrist to your list of Doctors, but if you need one, let me know, I have a good Podiatrist. .

Redwings have been the best for me for steel toed boots. Otherwise my Justin square toes have been with me about 7-8 years

It is not always the best price and wear, it has to be the best fi. Sorry fitting boots are useless.

Check out Timberland.
Don't know why but I've had good luck with them.

Thorogood. USA made, different soles available, different styles available. They offer slip on, steel toe, chemical resistance, leather. I have 2 pair and a pair of their Wellington style. I recommend Thorogood boots. https://www.midwestboots.com/product/TH804-3311.html Electrical rated also https://www.midwestboots.com/product/TH804-6111.html

Nice looking boots, like what I need, and what I mentioned needing in another thread, and I do want the Wellington style boot, but the Thorogoods don’t appear to be waterproof. Got to have waterproof boots.

Redwings. The USA made ones.

I usually get 1.5-2 years out of a pair. I wear them 5 days a week minimum. They're in mud and cow crap daily. Mine would last longer if I would clean them up and oil them more often.

Georgia Boots (owned by Rocky now) with the FLX Point sole and inserts, are the best I have found. I have some tennis shoe height Merrell MOAB II that are very durable and comfortable. May try Merrell MOAB II composite toe boots next.

Out of the last several pairs I have had Rocky is my favorite. Hold up well and by far the most comfortable pair of boots I have worn.

I have some twisted x now, they have been good but not long enough to make a call on them.

Isn't there something you could treat boots with to resist harsh chemicals?
