I'm looking for a scope that I can use on clear nights with a full moon to hunt hogs. This one seems huge, but should do the trick. Anyone have experience with this or one like it?

Clear in good daylight but vortex lacks at dark.

Find a vx3-vx6 Leupold or a Meopta

I have one on my RWS 34P. That is a spring piston air rifle. It has held up good so far and it is clear, parallax adjustment seems to work well. Doesn't change poi or snything like that. I like it alot.

I have a Meopta Optika6 3-18x56 and it is amazing in low light situations. Of all the scopes I have (more than 30) the Meopta is the best by far, solid features and good prices too.

The low light performance of Crossfires is severely lacking to my eyes as is the eye relief and eye box. I have Leupold, Zeiss, Burris, Bushnell and Meopta. My Meopta is the best in low light of my scopes. For low light reticle choice is pretty important. For low light my favorite is a German #4, especially with a non-illuminated reticle.
