Too early, but I plant standard and jumbo. The jumbo make for darn good poppers.

I now buy the biggest fattest ones for stuffing, found a new way on youtube to prep the pepper.
Instead of cutting it in half and having two separate sides, slice it from the top stem down the middle to the tip and open it up and clean (see youtube video starting at the 2:20 mark).
Saw some other videos that do the same thing but they make about a 3/4" T Slice at the top (crown) then slice it down the middle to the tip to make it easier to open.

I have found using a teaspoon, the long skinny ones for actually stirring a tall glass of ice tea works great for cleaning them out!

I started buying serrono peppers instead.

Me as well. Even the serranos are not that spicy.

I use a grapefruit spoon to de-vein/de-seed, works like a charm with the little semi serrated edges ...

The wife grows jalapeños in her Coronavirus Victory Garden. Back when it was just a garden, there was a year when the jalapeños were not hot at all, and I made fun of her peppers. Should not have done that. She slipped me a Habanero, which I munched with a laugh. The laugh died in my throat.
