We've had several sounders move into the north and eastern part of the ranch, there's plenty of water in the draws and several large ponds. They've been hitting the north side pretty hard. This is an area about 100 yards long and 60-70 yards wide, both sides of the road. They're rooting out a small plant I don't know the name of but seen them eating it before.

Mild winter and all this rain gonna make lots of piggy babies. They are multiplying and expanding faster than we can keep up. .... Sound familiar to the national news

Been seeing the same thing at our place for the last couple of months, turning over acres of ground. They are out in full force.

Wait until they dig a 2' deep hole in the middle of your road. You'll really love them then. Nasty critters.

They can make a meal out of nothing, or so it seems.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of destruction they can do in a short time.

Exactly. I'd love to have the just the small plant rooting's the OP posted. Wouldn't give them a second thought. Our hogs destroy whole sections of pasture overnight and will root up areas over a foot deep easily.

The Bronco in the pics below has a 6" lift and running 35" tires for scale. This is typical of the damage I have to repair where I live.
