I don't know if any of y'all have seen these motion decoys but I got a couple last year and let me tell ya, they put some motion on the water.

What I really like is that it acts like a jerk rig but it's automated so you don't have to be moving around in the blind. They swim for a short distance, then flips up like a feeding duck, then pops back up and floats backwards which creates a lot of motion.

With 2 or more of these, it can really bring your spread to life. I hunted public last year and there were several days where people were skunking or only getting 1 bird and I was consistently getting 4+ on almost every hunt. When the birds see the motion from these, they would come in without hesitation. I think the type of motion they are creating looks very natural.

Not mine but I hunted over them a couple times last year. Setup looked to be a little bit of a pain but good motion.

I will agree with you on the setup, but, it gets easier the more you do it, just based on getting used to it.

How much does it weigh?

Not something I’d want to walk in. I’d guess 5 lbs give or take, total system. If you have a boat or hunt private, no problem.

It puts off different motion than your pulsator style motion decoys. Looks good.

The website has ads from December, also it’s very hard to navigate. Hard to trust the company.

Yeah, I don't know him either but I had a small issue with one of my units and I emailed the company. within 5 minutes, Ted called me on my cell and walked me through the issue. He's first class.

I will say now that I used them all season, They are a bit heavy (they have to be to keep the unit from floating up when the decoy pulls down). But I ran 2 for most of the season and I did plenty of walk in spots. It's not that bad. I use a sled or a wagon typically.

Other times I have used my kayak and that is no problem at all.

Also, you can attach your own decoys to it if you want. Just make sure they are roughly the same size as the included decoys... I attached a couple of Wigeon decoys to one of the units. I tried GWT but it pulled them under water and blew the fuse.

For the price, they’re not worth it. We bought them this pst hunting season. Every time we used them, we had to constantly work on them. Too much sugar for a dime.
