Last night, I checked the progression of the storms and figured I could get in about 3 hours of hunting before they hit my hunting area. It would a good plan based on the storm cells that existed at the time, but new ones popped up over my hunting area while I was hunting. There was a light sprinkle when I started my stalk. By the time I returned to the truck, it was raining and the lightning was impressive and by impressive. I didn't need a flashlight to find my way through the darkened field. The ongoing lightning flashes were more than sufficient to see the gate I needed to get back to in order to get to my truck, LOL.

Managed to shoot what looked to be the largest sow of the group, but because of the storm, did not inspect her, so I shot her some more to make sure she didn't get a chance to get up.
