What was the bubble?

Hey I'm still waiting for an answer to this. (sound of crickets...)

I feel your pain. I don't buy unless I do my research. Even then, I sometimes miss something. I bought PLT at $45, it is now around $6.

Next question. Will the Exchanges suspend their rules when a stock drops below $1? Ford is getting closer every day. So is GE.

You could be right JP. Uncharted waters.... I will continue to stay positive even if you win our bet.....

The positive I see is that hopefully 3-6 months from now there will be opportunity everywhere if you have some cash ... real estate, the market or even purchasing a small business. The bad news is that along the way a lot of people will probably make mistakes that will bankrupt them. Who knows, maybe we will get lucky and a vaccine will start circulating in the next few weeks.

As for the bet, if you want to cut it in half, we can do that. Like I said, if I win it's going to the Billy Dyson Foundation.

Let's be honest, the current environment is not the time for your "average Joe" to start re-allocating/re-investing his/her portfolio. Way too much downtrend and way too much uncertainty still. Hunker down, hang tight and wait for the rebound...

My feelings exactly. Broken record but cash is still king with me.

Potus not gonna like this:

Cnbc:

Dow wipes out gains under Trump’s presidency
Trump tweeted on Dec. 23 that the Dow was up 55% since his election and promised — less than three months before the market entered a bear market — that “the best is yet to come.”

This whole disaster is terrible and we need to turn to God and not to our own egos and selfishness. I am prying for all our leaders and that they will lead us as God directs.

Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy.

Walmart,Lowes,Home Despot,Target,..all smart plays IMHO.

Don't make long term investments based on short term gains from this corona thing. That being said, I do like walmart long term because they are giving amazon a run for the money...

Walmart stock is almost at an all time high. Sold a 100 shares so I can have some extra pocket money just in case.

I cashed my chips in several years ago after retiring....but I see tremendous opportunity coming in the market. I’m keeping a close eye and will jump back in at some point.
I’m fortunate.... I live comfortably now but even at my age it’s hard to pass up making some money again esp for the grandkids
