New equipment and still poor shooting

Sad to see a good company like NVO letting you in

What a joke but atleast is didn’t start off like a lifetime movie with your wife. You should probably use your edit skills and film somebody that has skills.

He's not listed on their staff page, but I'm now curious as to their relationship...

The fox looked dead to me, with a blown out side... So the job was done. Some people will find anything to complain about.

I am curious about the zoom window pic in pic. Do you feel it is of real value at that range? Thanks

I have used Pulsar Apex, Pulsar Trail, Pulsar Thermion, and Being Optics Hogster-R with Pic-N-Pic mode. I think it is an outstanding feature, but that is a personal preference. Some people absolutely hate it. Personally, I would prefer to have it running all the time, providing a zoomed image for targeting your first shot while maintaining a wider FOV with the larger image for picking up runners.

Is it a value at that range? Sort of depends on how precise you want to be targeting, size of your target, and whether or not you like the feature.

Is it necessary? NO. It is a cool option to have. Absolutely.

The follow up shot was my concern, the pic in pic getting in the view. Have not tried one, my FLIR does not have that feature. I see the value for the first shot. thanks

Out of the Apex, Trail, and Hogster, which one has the best image quality? I’m looking at the Apex xq38, Hogster 35mm, and the cheaper Pulsar rxq30v. Don’t really care about video recording. Mostly care about image quality. Any suggestions?

APEX if you can find it is the best dollar for image detail (subjects and distance viewing)

The Hogster is going to give you ALOT more terrain and thermal sensitivity than the APEX but the targets and zoomed imaged is cleaner with the APEX.

Both are very capable units for the money

Trail is different in all regards including price so not a fair comparison in my opinion.

I had an APEX and enjoyed it. Traded it in for one with a rangefinder
