I recently purchased my first red dot and discovered I have a astigmatism. So, I'm told a prism scope will be the better choice.. Before I make that move, I would like to look through several different red dots to see if anything changes. Where in the metroplex would be a good place that carries all the name brands in stock?

I have the same thing. Red dots won't work if you have an astigmatism.

I went with a Bushnell LIL P. Its 1x and works great.

I have an astigmatism as well. I think it varies by individual, you'll have to look thru the optics yourself and see how they appear. With me, some give the sunburst effect and most Eotech's look like crap - but many RDS sights work fine. I have Vortex Viper/Venom, Sig Romeo 5, Trijicon MRO, Bushnell TRS-25, and lots of Holosuns.

I’m the exact same way. The EO’s look like a blob to me, but Aimpoint look fine to me. Had a Delta Point pro with the triangle reticle, it was usable but it was definitely not defined around the edges the triangle looked more like a blog to my eye.

All Aimpoints, MRO, RMR, primary arms have worked for me. (Single red dots)

I definitely want to look through a MRO and a Aimpoint.

My astigmatism is bad. Everything looks like a cluster of grapes to me.

AP, if you’re not wanting to go microdot look at the Aimpoint PRO. Best bang for the buck IMO.

I like my Aimpoint PRO, it’s been beat on pretty good and hasn’t failed. It sees daily use on a patrol rifle.

I’m wanting to put together a suppressed lever action 30-30 and it will wear a red dot, but something much smaller, maybe the Trijicon MRO

I think you have to try a bunch and see what works best. I looked through just about every option and the Vortex sparc worked best for me. It's super clear even turned up for the daytime.
