We had a guy put the front bumper of his ATV through his rear window. He had a 4-5 hour drive home with temps in the 30s. I loaded my Polaris into my F150 SC 4x4 a couple of times. I said the heck with this nonsense and bought a small trailer. One problem with hauling an ATV in the bed is I need my bed space.

If you insist on wood you will need to find oak as someone else mentioned or some SYP No.1 dense. The only place i know to get it is a truss company or a specialty lumber place. Then you probably need 2x10's and depending on length you will have to double. If they are 2x10s doubled in SYP #1D i hope you have plenty of wheaties.

You spent a lot of money on that Honda. Don’t go cheap on the ramps and tie downs. Think of it like putting a $99 scope on a $1200 rifle. It will work until it doesn’t and then regret sets in.

Mighty tite tie down system. Never deal with straps again. Literally 1 minute to secure your UTV/ATV.

The video is exactly the reason why I have trailers. One is a 12 foot, other 18ft car hauler. It will haul the mule and my 750 four wheeler with no problem. Use the 12 footer most. the small bit of fuel it takes is cheaper than a broken arm, tore up machine or worse.

Fastrap tie downs...I went to get you a link and it looks like they've come out with a new version that doesn't require you to constantly have red straps on your trailer...they are now green and come on and off the bracket that you screw/bolt to your trailer.

Here are the new ones...you can probably find them cheaper but I have the old red straps and I wouldn't trade them for any strap or tie down system....they are that good.
