When the SHTF some people hug their teddy bear, fools and idiots buy TP. Only a small percentage of people went crazy over the TP, so the number of fools and idiots must be small. Maybe there is still hope for the USA.

Amazon just delivered two huge boxes of TP my wife ordered Tuesday. Guy was even nice enough to ring the bell and place inside the front door! I feel richer!

Several years ago there was a post on another forum by a member who went through a crisis in his country. I don't remember what the nature of the crisis was or even what country he was from but he made a list of the first things that disappeared from store shelves. At the very top of the list was toilet paper. I cant explain it but for some reason that's the most important thing on peoples minds when the world goes belly up.

One thing he did say though was after about 3 weeks of bare store shelves people resorted to trading for items they needed. Money was meaningless to them because money couldn't buy them what they needed so they traded goods for goods. He said it was mostly the women that reached out to one another to trade for what they needed.

So I guess if you don't have toilet paper just hang on a few days and before long you can trade some 22 ammo for a few rolls.
