Does anyone hunt pigeon? If so any tips or advice Iv seen some youtubers doing it and it looks fun would like to give it a try.

Just incidentally during dove season. Sure would like to the rest of the year, though.

Ya I think it would be fun and a lot of good practice. Iv watched people say they are actually pretty good to eat also. Id like to find a place to get after them maybe help out a rancher/farmer two birds one stone kinda thing.

Arizona has a season for Banded Tail Pigeons.
They are not billboard pigeons, they live in middle of nowhere in the woods.

If you are hunting where they typically feed we like to throw out 2-3 spinners. They'll work the spread very similar to ducks. 1 1/4oz #7 thumps them. I typically like to hunt the evenings better than mornings when we hunt feed lots because the birds seem to work better in the afternoon.

great advice thanks! Any ideas how I might go about finding some or finding a place that i could hunt them at?? Pretty new to hunting overall so any info I will gladly take thanks.
