Just returned from our 12 day honeymoon in New Zealand! Absolutely epic hunt with my wife by my side through every minute! We hunted 60% of the time and did the tourist/shopping 40%. Lots of travel time in the plane but was budget friendly and painless! Brought the horns home with me for $135 per set and tanned hides will return in a few months. Stag scores 525” and was taken with a suppressed .308 while laying prone on a 45 degree rock overlooking the bottom of a drain taking 8 steps before falling over dead. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2020/03/full-10664-221540-f04239f9_453a_492c_9c0f_5708ea6b08ef.jpeg) Bull was taken at 45 yards with a Mathews bow after an absolutely spectacular 3 day hunt in rugged country. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2020/03/full-10664-221541-9249f639_f733_4c2e_8957_de6cefff8a9f.jpeg) Spotted fallow was a fun 2 day hunt where we ended up finding him bedded in the most rouged section of the ranch. Was prone for 3 hours staring at the sun the whole time.
