What’s it worth? 750 ml

Just passed on a bottle at the store for 129 bucks. It’s good but not over 100 dollars a bottle good. Last one I bought was 45 dollars at the liquor store which is normal price of it. But no one in Dallas sells it for the because they only get a few bottles so they feel they have to Jack the price up and people pay dumb prices for stuff.

Just got a bottle of Eagle Rare for $36 plus tax and am on the list for a bottle of Blanton's. I asked and the price will be $60 plus tax. I will pay it this time to see if it is really worth it or just hyped up. Also got a bottle of Buffalo Trace I will open next week to try it for the first time.

Lady today at the store took my number and said she'd text me when the shipment comes in. Then I find her and tell her boss that she did a great job helping me at the store. Kinda true...

$60 is retail for Blantons, but it’s a limited supply so prices get stupid. It’s a solid $60 drink, not worth more than that.

Buffalo Trace isn’t anything special, pop the top and enjoy.

Eagle Rare is a great cheap drink, but $39 for 750 is high. That bottle in 2018 was $24

The main stores around here sell them for around 70-85 and I will pay that for blantons because I enjoy it. My aunt owns a liquor store in Kansas and she got me a bottle for 46 and some change which she said is her retail price. But I agree that pushing 100 a bottle it’s not worth it.

I think Blanton’s is over hyped, I don’t see how people think Buffalo Trace is all that like some talk about.

I have paid as much as $65. Anything higher than that, I am out. It is a solid pour for the $55-65 range though.

Specs in Conroe is $50 and change when you can get it, I have 5 fifth’s ratholed

I like to drink my bourbons neat or with lil ice. Blanton was my go to. Lack of supplyY and resulting price increases have led to a change in thought. Basil Hayden's and Colonel Taylor have filled void.

I watched a documentary last night called Bourbontucky filmed in 2014. It was about the current explosion of bourbon in America along with some history to go along with it. It was amazing to me how many hard to find bourbon's are made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, however I think what they put in a bottle is pretty mediocre.

For $60 grab 2 for me. Even with military discount I can’t get it less than $90 here when they get it in.

Weller is pretty damn good.
