HOF, I hurt for you. Godspeed for these physicians, but especially for you and Teri. As the medical team and y’all are preparing for this surgery I pray for strength and peace for you and God’s healing touch upon the entire medical team....

Update: Yesterday she finally agreed to have the personnel present living will paperwork and make clear her wishes. Today when the person arrived, she sent them away saying, "My husband has power of attorney and I'll trust him to do whatever needs to be done. Goodbye." Myself, our daughter, and the nurse were all a little stunned by the firmness of her tone and the look she gave the young administrator. As heavy as all of this is, I gotta laugh
That woman, if not now, and I sincerely hope not now...that woman is absolutely going to get the last word. I know some of you that have known the love of a good woman will appreciate being outsmarted at every turn.
She has officially been in surgery for over three hours now.

Update: Docs just came out. They got all the tumor, no spinal fluid leakage, tumor was benign. She will be in ICU for a day and another 2 or 3 in hospital after that.
Each and every one of you that threw a prayer up on our behalf is welcome by my fire. Thanks for caring. Thanks to the man upstairs.

Best news I'll hear all day. I've lived what your living right now HOF...my wife had one in 2016. Let's you appreciate how fragile life is...I honestly never thought her uttering my name could bring a tear to my eye, but it did. I was scared to death she wouldn't know anything or anyone when she woke up....once that big fear was alleviated, it was all down hill from there.
She handled things much better than I did...I tried to not show my concern to her, but she said afterward she knew I was scared...she was right. The hardest thing for her was they shaved half her head, I had no idea how much women identify with their hair.
Small bump in the road and will throw some up for a speedy recovery. Congrats to you both!
