Employee planted it last year spring and there's still about 6 of these in the ground.

I believe it is mustard greens after a ggole search. Very similar leaves to turnip, but there's no turnip on the root.

Sure was, interned there about 10 years ago now.

We did a lot of hunting there back in the 80's. The "House Pasture" had probably 300 Axis in it. It has really changed. Probably 75% of the Oaks have died and you very seldom see even a single Axis in it. Paco stills works there. I saw him a few days ago.

Mustard greens. Taste it raw. It will have a horseradish like taste. Chop it up and cook with ham hocks.
