My brother had a rubicon about 2 years ago and said it was the most uncomfortable ride for extended periods of time. He didn't have it longer than a year. He drives 100miles one way to work. I've really enjoyed this second Wrangler. The first was an 05 LJ. This one is a 2018 4-Door Wrangler. I have to have a truck and have to have this for showing real estate. I figure if this "Teddy Roosevelt" (rough rider) machine hiccups tomorrow a 4-Runner is next.

They are certainly not a luxury ride. But, that is expected. I drive mine to Houston and Rockport quite often. The longest trip was to Colorado with my daughter to play on the mountain trails for a week The worst part is if there is a cross wind. Lifted Jeeps don’t like that.

Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to
see through people's BS gets much better.

Nice. I want a Gladiator bad! When I first saw a Jeep Gladiator I thought if they would offer it in a "Scrambler" package, in either cream color or that copper-brown, with those funky multi-color decal stripes and some retro chrome rims, they'd sell a ton. Just slap a "Scrambler" badge on the tail gate.

Still have the Yukon (though I'm working on replacing it). Still have the F250. To me, Wranglers are not road trip or even [long] commute vehicles. Not saying the ride is bad though. Anyway, it's a toy. Traded the 2012 F250 for this 2017 JKU in January. I added the 3.5” lift and 35’s within the first 2 weeks. Went out to Hidden Falls on the third week and was amazed at what it could do for being just a Sport model. I love them but will never own one because I'm too tall. Headroom and legroom are my only complaints.
