Went to Costco for paper towels, toilet paper among other things and they were completely out of the paper. This was a normal trip for us that we should have obviously made 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure I understand why everyone is buying all the paper? I get the disinfectants and cleaners but why all the other stuff? Also, they were running out of bottled water and limiting people to 2 cases. Was it just announced that our drinking water is infected with COVID-19?

Just went to the local Brookshires with a long shopping list. No problem getting anything, including TP and paper towels. But, the Houston daughter says that there are shortages ay her usual stores.

When I lived in NE Louisiana, there was never a worry about wiping, as long as there was Spanish Moss. Don’t have that in central Texas, unfortunately.

The guy at checkout said that people were fist fighting over packages of water this weekend.

I live in an area that is dominated by democrats and liberals so I'm sure no one was hurt. Probably just a few slaps to the shoulder area.

Regular grocery stores in Dallas had all the water and TP you wanted this weekend.

I think the paper products panic stems from the fear of being sequestered in your home, either quarantined or to avoid the virus.
