Tonight the wife and I enjoyed the Classic $5.00 Tuesday night Cheeseburger at Snuffers again, for the $ it is hard to beat. Where is your go to spot?
The Cheese-fries are way good too and I accidentally deleted the picture of them hammer

Recently visited Maple & Motor in Dallas as it typically makes the top of many lists. It was very good, not at the top of my list but in the top 10. I definitely have had better. Orlando’s (Italian Restaurant......go figure) in Lubbock has a really good one. The best burger (and more expensive) I have ever had.... at Del Friscos & is usually only available during the lunch hour. For a more convenient fast food type place, it’s hard to pass up a Heffs Burger.

Haven’t been to one in years. It was always good, just had to drive to Austin for closest location.

Maple and Motor is a good burger. You still can't go wrong with Kellers at anytime. And here in my neighborhood of Deep Ellum there is a new burger joint called Skyrocket Burger and they are really good burgers.

Again, I will say Giant Burger in Rhome, Texas for a simple cheeseburger. Ronnie's in Wichita Falls is also good.
For specialty burgers....added ingredients etc...someone has already stated; Rodeo Goat. Any location.

Texas Style Burgers and Wings on Brown Blvd in Arlington.

I work in Arlington, and drove by this place (In a strip shopping center across the street from a Kwik Kar lol) about 100 times before stopping in. Excellent burgers at an affordable price, hand cut fries, they also have excellent Buffalo Wings.

Try It.

Storm's in Lampasas used to be one of my favorites ...

Bill's burgers, Wings & things in Burnet is one of the best burgers I have ever found ... homemade onion rings and fries, 1/2 order of each is plenty for 2 people too.

Lampasas one was always good, the one in Hamilton sucked big time the one and only time stopped there. It's been years since we have been to either.

When the old man was alive there was no better burger anywhere. then they branch out and quality suffers. Tommy's across the street is better IMO.

Dutch's by TCU is also good. It is important to go there when school is in session, and the weather is nice. Scenery is better.

Without a doubt the best burger I've ever had. Took it for granted not living in the panhandle anymore. You don't realize how good they are until you can't find a burger that doesn't come close to it, coyote bluff is definitely the standard to which all burgers are judged. .

Coyote Bluff is number 1 for me. Absolutely the best. Rodeo Goat had a good burger, but their fries were godawful bad. I’ll take Twisted Root over Rodeo Goat.

Used to be one at Coit and Campbell but closed.

My favorite now is Liberty Burger. And has good draft beer. Jake's always rocks.

Not sure, I haven't seen any of the reviews. I went there a couple times last month, first time in a while, it was still great to me.

Its pretty good., I stop in there occasionally.

We were in there one time a few years ago and there were a couple of older men in there talking about whooping azz for 45 minutes. To hear them tell it they left a line of bodies from Dallas to Throckmorton. As we were leaving one of them asked my friend (6'5" 250 lb ex special forces) how he liked his food, and he replied it was good. The man said y'all be sure and come on back then, and my friend said heck no, too dam rough in here for us. The looks and speechlessness from those guys was priceless.

If you ever come through Lufkin the place is Mom's. Other folks will tell you Ray's Drive In but they are wrong.

If you happen to be in Nacogdoches the place is Butcher Boy's.

Man if rodeo goat is the best burger y'all have ever had, coyote bluff would absolutely blow your mind lol.
Rodeo goat is good, but not much different than grub or twisted root.

Sorry to say it's not free. It's actually a double cheeseburger. Went there this week, still serving great burgers but Covid has made them close the inside restaurant so all customers sit outside under umbrellas.

It better be. That's one of my staples during deer season. Been going there since I started hunting around there 13 years ago. I don't live in Graham only hunt there but since technically it's a drive in too I would imagine they stayed in business the whole time and just brought it out to the car or you picked it up at the window. I sure hope so.

Went to Braum’s opening Wednesday. Large fry, double-meat CB, 32oz drink was ~$9. Went to Five Guys On Thursday, small CB, small fry, 20oz drink was $12.75. FG fries were really tasty but Braum’s burger was better and so much cheaper.

I didn’t know the Dun Bar East was still open. My dad has some legendary stories about that motel and bar from back in the late 60’s. That place was his home away from home after he got out of the navy and started making sales calls in west Tx. It must have been something back in the day.

I believe it was still open the last time we were in San Angelo, we haven't stopped there in quite a few years. It was a legend in those days.

Not in Texas, but if you ever find yourself in OKC, be sure to hit up Nicks grill for the best hamburger in town.

The Skyrocket burger looks amazing. Simple, to the point and still actually looks like a burger.

Herds in Jacksboro is my best burger for the buck now days. And you better bring bucks cause they don't take cc.

When I was in high school, it was Kincaids on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth. Mr Gentry who owned the place was a great guy, I believe that he sold out years ago and unfortunately, the quality isn't the same as what it used to be.

Don't know about the baitshop but Thriftway has always had good burgers. They used to have chicken gizzards early in the morning but were usually sold out by 9am.

Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever has is the Fat Bob at Bent Rim Grill in Leakey. The buns are super fresh, meat is juicy and flavorful, they have beer, and the view of the hill country from the patio is purdy nice too. cheers

Show me a better one than this. Sometimes I amaze my self. I made some of my brisket H.B. patties that I grind and heated it up the Blackstone. I added some jalapeno muenster cheese, my home made bacon, sliced avocado, lettuce and tomato and grilled the buns. The crust on the meat was fabulous to say the least.

Just read through all these pages, and surprised no one mentioned Woody's, in mineral wells. Haven't ate there in a long time, but they were famous for their burgrrs.

The wife an I went to one of our old favorite places to get a Burger "The Angry Dog" in Deep Ellum last week, we have not been in a very long time.
I got my usual burger with Pepper Jack cheese and Jalapenos, the meat had very and I mean very little flavor to it pretty much bland, the onion rings tasted like they dumped them out of a frozen sack and into the grease, yes they were greasy.

Disappointed big time especially for the price they charge, I think the burger with Onion Rings is $11.95 Cheese is extra $ Jalapenos are extra $ so I am guessing my burger & onion rings cost between of $14.00 - $15.00 + tax + tip

Kelly Farms in Lucas is a good one. Simple: burger and if you want grab a canned soda and chips from a cooler. Picnic style right off the road. The burger itself IMO is one of the best I've ever had. I think it runs about $10 if you get the combo.

I have heard great things about Rodeo Goat, there is one in downtown Houston, next baseball game we go to I want to go to it prior to the game.

Charlie's is a good one. We stop in there to eat from time to time.

Also tried Hooker's Grill in the stockyards in FTW the other day, as a suggestion from another thread on here. It was pretty good as well.

One order of fries is easily enough for two and they got a burger for everyone. Too many options
Sounds like a great pre* game

Got a good one to go today at lunch, little grocery store in Woodson, TX. 1/2 lb. cooked well, fresh pickles, tomato, lettuce and cheese. Fries were also good. Will gladly get another there in future.

They've done a great job with this place. I can see why they get such a crowd. I've head the sound system is very clean and crisp by a couple friends and I look forward to catching a show or two there in the next few months.

And Hud is right, my pic of his Sloppy Joe is not a good one.

Growing up in Throckmorton and farming in Woodson I have eaten there countless times. I lived on their sandwiches during high school.

Growing up in Grayson county, we went to City Limits in Sherman a lot. They had a damn good burger. So did Mr. G’s, but not as good as City Limits. I hope that place is still around and still thriving!!!
