Broke out the small fryer this evening. Figured I’d drop some quail in the hot grease. Sides were homemade potato salad and Lima beans.

Looks great! Probably not a good thing, but we have a double basket counter top fryer, it is so nice for doing fish French fries, deer steak and several other things that evade me at the moment. Probably don't need to be eating all the fried stuff though frown

The good thing is I’ve been hoarding my birds vacuum sealed in the deep freeze. These were dated January’18. I didn’t go due to lack of birds this season, and only hunted one day the previous season.
