A stag i hunted a few years ago with my 8x68s in South Hungary. The Hungarians use weight as part of the trophy scoring/ pricing and this one at 6.8kg is quite an avaerage trophy.

Lack of a crown on either side also factors into making it rather ordinary.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

On Eastern European stags you don’t get a crown so much

No, it's looking at it the way I was trained in Germany, I had my hunting license while I was stationed there.

I’ve noticed even on mature stage in Scotland they don’t really crown. They are also thinner horned. German stags sometimes crown from my research but a lot of times they don’t.

Where in Europe do the biggest stage reside?

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.
