As a business owner, I would want that thing down ASAP. I cant imagine the crap they are catching in the demo industry right now and I'd have to imagine they will loose business because of this.

I agree with Sneaky above.
Those cranes are made to lift , not swing a big ball off center.
If y’all saw the implosion video, the structure that remains actually started to fall as they probably had the explosives at the bottom. The remaining structure is absolutely unpredictable.
I would not want to be the crane operator.

It’s highly unlikely that’s a safe thing to do. That structure is unpredictable, at this point, and the crane can only get so far away.

Exactly. Don't forget sneaky this forum is full of structural engineers that never went to school.

I'm not a structural engineer, but I once built a tree house. Two guys who can run really really fast could take that down with sledge hammers at ground level. lol35

Although I think your statement is probably correct, the following statement is NOT correct! "I bet 5 THF'ers with the trucks loaded with their best toys and a cooler full of beer could have that sucker SAFELY down in less than an hour.

When I first came here, this was all swamp. Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built in all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up. And that's what you're going to get, Lad, the strongest castle in all of England.
