My Dad had a NEF heavy barrel 223. Got it used for $100. It shot pretty good, so I decided I’d get one. Went looking, but couldn’t find one. But found a Ruger Hawkeye for, I think, about $400, so I bought it. It shot pretty well, but I wanted better. Timney trigger, new barrel, tune up and bedding, and it shoots great. Got a ton of money in it, and a high dollar scope. I just don’t know who to blame this on. I started out simple and cheap. I think I need to blame this on you people. So I will...

If you’d listened to this site you’d have bought a Tikka. Then you wouldn’t have wasted all that money making a Ruger shoot like a Tikka.

I think a $1500 scope would make that cheap gun shoot better, give it a try!

Well, though it cost me a bunch of money, I do like the rifle. And you guys need to quit suggesting other mods and upgrades. I’m ignoring ya.
