Sad story I didn't know this. I hope the medals rot in the safe it's a mute point at this time and has no meaning. Years ago at a company I worked at we completed a huge project at the quaterly meeting awards were given out for outstanding work. Our entire department was over looked WTF? Later management corrected the oversight but it was too late the damage was done and it didn't mean anything after the fact. My award went straight in the trash.
