The burial or cremation thread made me remember that I own a six place plot in a nicer cemetery just south of Houston. I, nor will any of my surviving family use these spaces.
What would be the way to sell the spaces? Is there a network or possibly an agent that would handle the sale like real estate?

I even asked the cemetery if they would buy them and they said that they weren’t interested.

Perhaps contact a funeral home close to the cemetary. Maybe they will purchase.

I have a couple at someplace in Delaware. Don’t even remember the name of the cemetery and can not find any paperwork. All I remember is that when I was stationed there, I won them and the guy came to the house to give me the papers was trying to up sell me on larger plots and amenities. I just said thanks and took what I was given.
Now that I am safely back in Texas, I find it highly unlikely that we will ever use it.

Yeah, I think that I could use that money for something a lot more useful.

Did a little bit of investigation into the website mentioned above and found out a lot of unfavorable things.
I hope to find a buyer and would sell for 50% of what the cemetery sells them for.
Just need to find an outlet or individual.

I'd stick a For Sale By Owner on each plot

Good idea lol. Seriously, get in touch with the local funeral homes in area of your plot and let them know you are interested in selling plots (prepare a nice looking flyer, with photos and contact info). Every week those funeral homes have customers that are
not "pre" prepared and facing sudden unexpected situation and in need of burial plot fast and will already be in sticker shock over costs of mortuary and cemetery pricing.

Lawn, texas 50.00 a plot. We own 5 currently. Bought 15 years ago, for myself, my wife, my brother and my son. Dad and mom currently there with along line of relatives. My family donated the land a long tome ago. Mcbee Cemetery outside Lawn, tx.
