Looks really cool, and not a bad price.

Pets in hotels are disgusting, so I'm good with that.

Sounds like nearly half a section of Terlingua got Kookifornia'd.

Hate to hear it. "...new, boutique..." made my skin crawl. But my wife would probably like it.

The article is wrong.
Lauren is a Texan, lived briefly in LA, but lived and worked majority of her life in Houston, Dallas and now Austin. She cute, likes to hunt and fish and is a registered Republican voter. She 28, but obviously got daddy’s money to buy the 250 acres and build 12 casitas and a house on it. Bless her heart.

I punched in 2 nights at different places for July 15-17 all fees and taxes included(low season btw)

Willow House: $852 (whaaaat?)
Tin Valley: $200
Lajitas Resort: $336 *

* By June, Lajitas Resort will always have specials such as book 2 nights at $149 each and get 3rd night free. The black jack golf course next door is one of the best and most scenic in Texas

Thats in euros x 1.078 makes is above $900 for 2 nights.
I can buy 1 acre of land in Big Bend area for that rate.

That's ridiculous! Land is stupid cheap out there. You could probably buy a few acres for $900.

Big Bend National Park, using my disabled veteran pass to the National Park system and a tent, leaves me about $400 for beer and food.

Only time the dogs aren't with us is when we fly. How is it that pets could damage those concrete block buildings?
