Not much to tell...I went to S Africa and hunted with Comre Safaris. My PH was Richard Bridger, and he did an outstanding job! The second morning there we saw him high in a draw. The two trackers one on each side of the draw hiked up the mountain and got in a little behind him and pushed him down while we eased up the draw. We were able to close the distance to about 130-140 yards. He was standing in some brush when he told me to shoot him. The bullet hit a limb and splintered into three pieces but they hit him and dropped him in his tracks. My wife was along and followed us. When we got to it, it’d been hit hard and was bleeding out but he sounded like he was crying. The PH told me to put another round into it to put it out of its misery which I promptly did. My wife was relieved, she was ready to start crying because out sounded like it was crying. It was an outstanding Sable...very very happy with it. For me it’s a true trophy...
