Hallelujah!!! but it ain't over...they voted to table it for a year and "study the issue". Depending on how the voting goes this Nov, we could be right back at it.

The best result they could have achieved, it showed Doombergs hand. Now everyone knows or at least should know what he has planned if elected. Everyone has to get out and vote in November.

If we don't vote them out then they will try and keep trying until they abolish our 2A rights. There are potentially 3 Supreme Court justices that could be replaced in the next 5 years, 2 liberals and 1 conservative. The liberals are only hanging on to see if a democrat will get into office. If one of these far left socialists win then you can bet that they are coming for your guns and much more. I care about a lot of different political topics but the 2A alone is enough to get me to the voting booth. Btw, they plan on turning Texas blue this year and they believe they can.

If the 2nd Amendment is changed through the constitutional process are you good with it?

The 2nd Amendment was written to guarantees that the right will not be infringed upon by the Government. It does not "give" us the right, so changing the Constitution does not revoke it.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

The powers that be in the Virginia state gov't. might be traitors, but they ain't stupid by any measure. They know full well "a cat has two ends, there's more than one way to skin 'im." And they have already started working on the other end.
