My mother was a product of the depression. She had the largest collection of reusable plastic containers and coat hangers on the planet.

Same for my mom, she even had the clamshell styrofoam takeout boxes saved. We took leftovers home in them all the time. And yes she would have saved the pimiento cheese one, we also save them. They are great to send food home with the kids.

There are not many things that I don't eat. Pimento cheese is one ill avoid if I can. I have eaten it in the past but prefer not to. I love containers like those though I take a lot of leftovers to work and with stuff like that I don't feel bad about trashing it when Im done.

Yep after taking the few minutes to make it at home, the stuff out of the plastic container isn't remotely the same.

Finished it today. Was a little short and added a slice of Swiss. Grilled it like a grilled cheese sandwich. Choked it down. Maybe again next year. Thanks a bunch for your kind words.
