looks awesome!!! My mom used to fry up a bunch when I was living at home, loved them fried ... got food poisoning from canned smoked oysters years ago, can't tolerate them any more, makes me extremely nauseous.

In 40 yrs, got extreme oyster food poisoning from Zeeland (holland) flat oysters 3 times.
1 trip to the hospital. I wont touch then raw no more.
Eating fried oysters is the safest way to eat em, kills all the bacteria instantly.

I like them fried the best, probably one of the few things I prefer more rather than less cooked. Raw ones just seem very bland to me, im not real sure what folks see in them. My brother loves them ive eaten them with him several times and they don't bother me, just not something I think of as good.

It's hell eatin em live

Looks awesome! I'm a fan of the raw oyster but my favorite ways are fried and Rockerfeller style off a hot grill.

Yeah, pappadeaux makes a mean blue point oyster one as well, grilled topped with spinach and melted cheese

I’ll pass on the oysters, but I love crawfish!
