Beautiful! I lived in the Midland/Odessa area for several years and I don't recall ever seeing those lovely mountains! Where are these tanks?

I’ve seen similar tanks on Devon locations in the Delaware Basin.

They do have a mountain at Odessa, it is west of town, it even has a name "Republic Services" and is high fenced to keep in the wildlife. The future home of Ski Odessa, just needs a little more trash to get it high enough...

Is this better? those were up in the DJ Basin in Colorado...... OK; now I feel better! I was beginning to think I had really missed something around the Tall City when I lived there many years ago! ;-)

Mmmm Hmmm

Exactly...we have these tanks up in a few different regions...That pic is just beautiful with its surroundings. Tanks are called Minions and are used as high volume water storage without having to use some many frac tanks on a location.
