Friday's cold weather had everything moving Friday evening. Right at dark a orange/black boar showed up at the far end of the greenfield and I popped him. An hour or so later 4 coyotes came trotting through the edge of the field but never came in or stopped. Around 8:30 they came back and two of the 4 didn't make it out of the field. About an hour later hog # 2 showed up and he went down. I called it a night about 9:30 or so and gathered up the bodies.

Saturday evening I went to a different location and set up for the night. The deer were out in force and the hogs were showing up in spurts. Shot one, then another, then another, then a group of 2 sows, 1 boar and 10 piglets showed up. I shot the biggest one, then got 4 of the piglets in the ensuing pandemonium.

So I ended up with 9 confirmed hogs and 2 more good hits that probably did the job.

That's not too bad for two evenings worth of work!
Thanks for sharing.

Went back Friday night and sat in the Meadow- didn't see anything but coyotes and coons and armadillos. Saturday night I headed back to the Big field and had 2 boars show up at separate times. The deer were out too- almost 20 in the field at one time.
