Cline Strickland in Weatherford breeds cockers. I wouldn’t buy a trained dog from him but a buddy got a couple of cocker pups from him that are nice. He has at least 100 bird dogs ready to go at all times. I’d watch the parents work though before you buy. It’s close to home for you. Look him up.

If you're looking for a pet as well, I've had Brittany Spaniels that would fit that description. Mine were both pretty small dogs but equal parts good hunter and family dog. Everybody has an opinion and mine is worth what you're paying for it.
