When I was crippled up in the spring, wife bought a cordless Ryobi (matches her power tools). For trimming grass around the house after mowing, it is fine. Stihl is the answer for much more than that. I use the Ryobi now too, can use one hand, and hold cold beer in the other after mowing...

I have a 20v dewalt. Its cutting ability exceeds my expectations. I live on 1.5 acres and I can almost do everything on 1 charge (I normally only weed eat every other mowing, if I weed eat every mowing I can finish it all on 1 charge)

If I was to do it again I would go for more volts than 20, but I got this one real cheap as part of a package deal. Im happy with it.

regardless of the weed eater , this is the best accessory on the market . (IMHO )

I hate string cutter heads, this unit uses either short replaceable , heavy duty strings or plastic blades. I have only use the blads so far.
the blades or string can be switched out in seconds,

good luck
