Got my rifle back from gun shop and want advice in quality of cerakote. Overall seems ok but concerned that muzzle break is showing scratches where Cerakote is gone and inside chamber there is what looks like overspray or gunk build up. This is on brand new rifle and work done at professional shop. Is the worn off amount on break normal from where they put on and what about the gunk. I spend 950 at this place and am thinking about Taking back to clean out the chamber

For $950 it should be near perfect. Don't let no vendor or other shop or rep come in here and tell you different.

For $950 you could buy a couple of rifles from the factory with cerakote. In some cases 3. And done better than that. Something to consider.

Still. There should not be crud in the chamber and scratches on the brake when you bring it home.

I would consider that unacceptable. I’ve had several guns Cerakoted (by two different shops), and all looked better than that.

Take it back! That’s BS right there. People make mistakes so as long as they make it right I wouldn’t hold a grudge
