Bingo. The shots through the fence are senseless (did you catch the poetic justice there). At the point the gun jammed all the pigs were behind cedars, what were you gonna shoot anyway?

I get the excitement, its fun and adrenaline filled stuff shooting these vermin. But you have to learn to control the excitement and make better judgements about what you are doing.

One question, how far away were you from he feed pen? Seemed you were around 30-40 yards, but looks can be deceiving.

What caliber are you using? Maybe use a larger caliber or go for a head shot because whatever your using is working. That was a small pig even a good 223 bullet should have put him down at that distance.

i liked it. shots fired, pig died. harmony in the world. maybe it's your pen and you don't care if it gets shot. and i've shot a few in the rump too. if they run, that's what happens.

i only have two suggestions. close the gate when they enter and shoot all of them. also, you can't kill a hog with a 223.

Yeah its my pen and its closed to they cant get in.. they were circling to see if any corn got to the outside. I knew they were about to take off why I was panning back and forth to see if I could get a 2 for 1 shot before they did. That fence isn't going to get hurt is a round hits it. and that feeder is cheap lol
