Brisket, but it also depends on what they have, if the have pulled pork or country style ribs, I would try those first.

Best way to judge any BBQ place is brisket followed by ribs. Brisket is by far toughest meat to get right and ribs have technical aspect many don’t recognize. Pulled pork is great but easiest meat to smoke and turkey is well meh although not easy to do.

Coleslaw or not? Yes. But only if it is good. Tangy. I mean it needs to curl lips kind of coleslaw. Anything else is weak

What I consider normal BBQ table fare in this order: Brisket, Pork Ribs, Sausage, Mesquite smoked yard bird. Love me some smoked beef ribs also!

Moist brisket off the point, then pulled point, sausage, ribs. And no sauce, for the true test.

I rate any BBQ joint on their brisket, that's number one and two for me (#1 moist and #2 lean), I usually get a 2 or 3 meat plate with brisket, sausage and ribs. A couple slices of white bread to wrap the brisket without sauce ...

I’m not a big brisket person and can look at the plates around and and tell whether it’s worth a darn. For me it’s ribs, mainly pork but I’ve been known to eat some big beef ribs.

Probably brisket or pork ribs. Judging Texas bbq by turkey? Are you from here? He’s from north Texas...they are a little different up there
