This is for all the guys that claim they can shoot 1/2 MOA groups, thumbtacks, gnats [censored] at 100 yards, or whatever else y’all claim. This target is perfect for shooters like me that aim dead center and miss in any direction The idea is to hit the ring, anywhere, should be easy for the chit talkers

I've got a new rifle being built. I'd like to shoot at that once I get it! Great job on the build!

Waste of steel just to do a dot drill. I think the objective is to hit the steel, not go inside the ring. Bigger hole in the steel is a snaller target. If you knew that (and you probably do) then your response is similar to mine when Wade sent me the pic. Not worth the time ans effort to make it.

We’ve all seen how the dot game goes, this is just another tool to break hearts

Waste of steel just to do a dot drill. I think the objective is to hit the steel, not go inside the ring. Bigger hole in the steel is a snaller target. I'll start aiming at the far top, bottom, and side rings of paper targets once it becomes difficult to identify new holes at the center. It makes paper targets last longer and allows for more shots between cease fires. The targets might also be used in the same manner as throwing a football through a tire, which may be the same as a dot drill. Aim for the hole and know the bullet passed though cleanly, with smaller holes requiring a better shot. The smallest hole would equate to hitting the head of a nail.

If the idea was to shoot through the hole, then everybody would win the round. Who’s to say you can’t just shoot low on every target and have a clean miss?

I'm not viewing it as a competition target but as something for self improvement. The shooter starts at the right and moves left with an increasing level of difficulty with each shot. Getting a bullet to pass through the far left target is without question the greatest challenge. Obviously, competition targets would be a series of round, solid targets increasing or decreasing in diameter. Being someone who likes to think outside the box, I was just trying to see the logic behind the design.
