Bookkeeper and office mgr. for an engineering/manufacturing company. She just retired on Dec. 31.

My wife is one driven, hardworking SOB. The most competitive person I know. She amazes me with her work ethic, and is currently a Director at the Corporate level. She calls me her trophy husband, and says she works so hard to keep me in nice things....... roflmao

Mine used to be a quality assurance technician at HEB. Im not exactly sure what she does now but still with the same company. She works and works hard. Im sure all spouses feel the same way, but her education surpasses what she is doing and I think her work ethic far exceeds many of her coworkers. I hope she is realized and gets moved up for her efforts.

Mine is an office manager/bookkeeper for a realtor / property management company but only works part time (22-26 hours per week) and off on Fridays. The pro here is she has businesses for any kind of repair or handy work we ever need around the house or rental properties ... and they gladly jump on our personal stuff to stay in good standing with her up for more business of the managed properties.

She hasn't worked full time since our daughter was born 33+ years ago, so she was available for taking/picking up the kids to/from school along with being able to go to all the day time functions. We chose that path over her working full time. It was a financial hardship for years but we could live a comfortable life, just not too many frills without some planning.

My wife left her job, outside the home, when my oldest was born.
Since then, she has been focused on raising me and the kids. wife

I am thankful to be blessed enough to allow her to be an awesome wife of 28 years and amazing mother for our two kids for the last 23 years. flehan

International IT Project Manager...retired. She also did all my office stuff (payroll, taxes, insurance, invoicing and such) for 20 years for my construction business before I sold it. She worked her tail off.

Mine was a bartender, then a high school teacher for 2 years, then a bartender for a year, then worked downstream O&G for 10 years. After our second child she stayed home. Got bored after about a year and got her real estate license. She's been doing that and running our business for the last three years.

The wife, way back when, wanted a part time job. She became a school bus driver, and did it for 33 years, then retired and got a nice pension.

My wife taught in Christian schools for 18 years which pays almost nothing, so she left and she has been at UTSA now for 9-10 years. Associate Director, wears a few hats, teaches a little, runs a scholarship program. She gets wore out by the end of the week sometimes, but makes me proud of her, she goes above and beyond for the students.

Mine is a retired school teacher. Sub teaching now and loves it! No lesson plans or grading to do at the house, plus gives her something to do.
