Looks perfectly cooked.. but what is your honest opinion on the taste. Compare it to something that most of us have probably eaten in the same manner.

I told them it taste like
70% beef
28% venison
2% lamb

If that makes any sense.
I thought it was really good.

First Aoudad I have ever shot or eaten.

I've never tried Aoudad but wouldn't mind trying it. Most people that I know personally that have tried it, was likely a mature/post mature ram and said the smell was so foul they weren't going to try eating it. If I am going to kill it, I plan on eating it for game animals as that's how I was raised. So I never put much thought into hunting Aoudad based on the above. I have had Barbado ewe, slow cooked like a brisket and it had a pretty good sheepy twang but the smoked made it bearable.

That and the burger you posted look great!
