Nothing in the article states that the birds were tested for that new strain of corona virus or other bad bugs. The first thing I thought of when I read it. I hope the authorities did (are).

There are all kinds of laws about importing animals, raw food stuff, wood that has not been processed, etc. One article I read said it was dead birds for cat food. Is this a case of planned sabotage or cat food? I don't know, but I'm glad the Customs agents decided to side on the safe side rather than pass it off.
