OP, You jumped off in the pool twice. Some of them will learn the hard way.

Before becoming a Realtor my title company friend saved me $$$$ and headaches several times on my "fly by the seat of the pants" way of buying, selling, flipping. However, I'm in small town America. That might not happen in the jungle.

I’ve bought 1 house and was represented by an agent.

I’m a commercial broker, have been for 17+ years. First few years were slow but 10-20 per year since. Mostly office, industrial and retail leases, a few land, condo or office purchases.

My wife is in mortgages and she tops my numbers.

6 houses and 6 land deals over 50 years.

6 houses, 2 commercial buildings, 2 land deals

1000 give or take over the last 30+ years - 15 or so for myself and the rest for clients, either as attorney for seller, buyer, landlord, tenant, equity holder, or lender.

Depends on what you call a real estate transaction. But thousands if you count buying and selling minerals, royalties, leases, etc...

8 houses, 3 land between 50-100 acres.

Purchased or sold 7 homes and one rural property. Also negotiated leases on 3 commercial office spaces. We used an agent on every transaction.
