I am not seeing where this is a felony in the articles or other published reports.
Is this more of slap on the hand crime or could he actually go to jail?

I am not seeing where this is a felony in the articles or other published reports.
Is this more of slap on the hand crime or could he actually go to jail? I’m not seeing it either, it just states six counts of “disorderly conduct” which I don’t think will be a felony. Also he is already sue for malicious prosecution. I sure hope this cost him a fortune at the very lease.

What I read said "disorderly conduct" was the charge.

After prosecutors dropped the case in March, Smollett maintained his innocence but agreed to let officials keep a $10,000 bail. ...I'm no lawyer but I'm pretty sure that's not how bail works. Meaning, the person arrested does not determine if bail is to be paid and if bail is to be returned... and why would the arrested simply "let the officials keep" bail. ...unless it's a pay-off. You know, like a quid-pro-quo, to distract from what is really happening. Oh look at me, the victim, yet I paid so all is good. Nope. The city has sued Smollett, seeking reimbursement exceeding $130,000 for overtime paid to officers who were involved in investigating Smollett's report. Smollett's attorneys have said the city should not be allowed to recover costs from Smollett because it accepted $10,000 from the actor "as payment in full in connection with the dismissal of the charges against him." ...but now it's no longer bail it's "payment in full in connection with the dismissal...". Poorly worded article or do you think you can pay for dismissal? Either way, see my previous comments. That's not how things work. I'll withhold my comments on the police spending $130k.
