She is losing her sight due to pressure on her optic nerve. Doc said to keep her stress low. Of course, she is our companies bookkeeper, and already a special kind of crazy. I'm fighting her not to drive and she's not willing to take my word for it. The doc sort of agreed with me but his behind the fact she passed her last drivers license and who is he to argue with the State. Of course, she loves him now.

Sincerest thanks for the prayers on what lies ahead. We've been married 37 years and she is the kindest person I've ever known. She deserves to spend many years baking cookies for her grandkids. My prayer is she sticks around to see her great grands.

Continued prayers.

MD Anderson or Memorial in the Medical Center of Houston. Prayers too. I live minutes from both hospitals and will put you up in a room with hot meals for free. This isn't my first rodeo with providing family members a place while someone is fighting cancer. PM me if interested.

UPDATE: 2nd MRI (thin slice) is completed. Cat Scan completed. Teri's initial neurosurgeon recommended another, more experienced, surgeon. He has agreed to take her on. We meet with him Friday in Dallas. Apparently he is the guy teaching all the new guys this technique and he specializes specifically in pituitary tumors. He operates out of Zale Lipshy Pavilion – William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital is part of William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital in the Southwestern Medical District in Dallas. Seems it's a teaching hospital for UofT. No date set yet. Still to meet with Ear Nose and Throat doc and Endocrinologist.

We are grateful for a doctor being candid and letting us know there is a better place for the surgery and a better doc to do it. Thanks for the prayers and the messages. If any of ya'll have first hand experience with the facility I'd appreciate any feedback.

We've been going there for the last 20 years. My wife has an inner ear disease that isn't terminal but that there is no actual cure for. She's had most every test there is and has had one surgical procedure at the Zale Lipshy Pavilion. Every doctor that we've seen there over the years are at the top of their profession. People come from all over the world to seek treatment there. In my opinion your wife is in the best hands that she can possibly be in there.
Prayers continue from our house!

Good to hear about the 2nd opinion, I have only ever heard good things about Zale Liphsy and UT Southwestern. I have a Uncle that has seen a Nureo there at Soutwestern and he was pleased with them. Continued prayers for Y’all.
