3-9x50's are $399, and they have 1-4's and 2-7's for $379. I checked the Leupold website and it looks like they discontinuing them. No scopes come up when you select the VX-R link off the main page. I bought the 2-7 late last year and the 4-12 a few weeks ago, both from Midway. Sale and free shipping. Both are outstanding scopes.

Well reading this cost me. Ordered the VX-R patrol 1.25-4× 20mm for 369.99
That is a good price.

I have both and prefer the 3-9x40. Eye box seems better to me.

Awesome scope,,,,I have the 4x12x50 and the 3x9x50,,,,great at night for pigs under a green light.
